THE PLATFORM

Apart from the rolling stock stretching out along the platform,
the historic building is full of treasures to see.

At the northern end is the “Lamp Shed”, the important workshop
where the safety signal lamps were stored and maintained.

The Lamp Trike is stored there with its special tray for delivering and collecting lamps.

A railways communication display is also housed in the Lamp Shed

The souvenir shop is in the main building.

The General Waiting Room complete with a sample of coal will be very familiar to travellers.

A ticket to any station in NSW and beyond could be obtained through the glass window.

A model train set of the precinct and a small village station is built in the baggage room.

An open shed with a display of tools used in the construction of the railway is at the south end.
